JOB TITLE: Group Operations Executive

LOCATION: London office OR UK remotely based

DEPARTMENT:  Group Operations Department

REPORTING TO: Operations Manager

Salary: Based on experience. Career progression will be available for the right candidate.

Job Description/Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone that is proactive, able to solve problems under pressure in a very dynamic environment. Second language is an advantage. You must also have the ability to communicate at all levels in a multi-cultural environment. Professional hotel and tourism qualification or work experience in the same area is desirable as well as the ability to negotiate and influence. Excellent communication skills is a must.

The right candidate will be expected to:

Operate VOSAIO booking system and follow procedures in order to efficiently perform all duties.

Ensure groups are operated efficiently and effectively paying particular attention to any special requirements of the market and group.

Be able effectively co-ordinate client requests and our company provided services by responding positively to changing daily demands whilst maximizing income and providing excellent customer care.

Provide excellent customer service at all times, taking responsibility for answering enquiries in person, by telephone and by email and prioritizing as necessary

Take responsibility for the provision of accurate and up to date information to our clients in regards of their groups and also passing it to our company departments.

Daily liaising with other departments regarding issues that might arise in regards of clients demands that might affect not only Operations department but whole company

Maximize every opportunity to increase the company revenue by monitoring losses

Operate groups from VIP clients

To hold emergency phone and deal with daily emergency calls

Make decisions in response to continually changing customer needs and expectations. This includes anticipating demands and forward thinking but also solving on the spot problems

Continuously develop and apply knowledge, competencies and skills for a wide range of service functions, including industry knowledge, and be able to give advice across a broad spectrum of knowledge areas.

Technical Skill Requirements:

Be a team player and willing to be hands-on

Strong attention to detail

High ethical standards, analytical ability, excellent communicator.

Diverse experiences in Negotiation and administration.

Proactive and able to work as a team as well as alone.

Decisive, able to resolve conflicts between different parties in a dispute and find suitable solutions to challenges.

A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
